Marcia Haufrecht (born 3 January 1937, New York City) is an American actress, playwright, director, and acting teacher. She is a life member of The Actors Studio and founder/artistic director of The Common Basis Theatre. Her film credits include Dog Day Afternoon (1975), Prince of the City (1981), Win Win (2011), and Armageddon Time (2022). On television she has appeared in The Sopranos and Law & Order (three different characters). In theatre she performed opposite Al Pacino in Richard III and has 2 Broadway credits. She has also directed short films, written plays, taught acting in New York, Australia, Austria, and Portugal, and exhibited visual art. No major awards are on record.
