In acting, she is known for Bela Mandil (2019), directed by Helena Estrela. Ângela directed Camarim (2016), Não Há Cigarras no Inverno (2017), and CAPUT (2020). Her films are known for having a solid feminist motif that touches on topics like gender, psychological abuse, and mental health.
